Christmas Gingerbread Cookies Baking Workshop

This Christmas the PTA hosted our very first gingerbread cookies baking workshop at the food technology room of Victoria Shanghai Academy (VSA)! It was a busy but fun filled morning for both parents and children; working together to roll out the dough, choose their favourite cookie cutters, and decorating their cut out shapes. The warming aroma of ginger and cinnamon filling the room certainly made it a joyful experience for all! We were delighted to have our PTA Excom Chairperson, Mrs. Jennifer Wong, lead the workshop and demonstrate to our participants the tricks of baking mouth-watering cookies! They all had a great time baking the handmade gingerbread cookies created, with the final results yielding a special gift for them to share with their family and friends. Our workshop had also supplemented festive aprons, cookie cutters, and Christmas themed cookie containers for our participants to take home. We have received a lot of positive feedback with many participants wishing us to organize similar events in the future!
