Following the success of the 2017 Christmas Snow Globe Workshop with 122 participants, the PTA held a Christmas Snow Globe and Plant Jamming Workshop for parent-child pairs to make their own unique Christmas themed Snow Globes and Plants using Christmas decorative accessories, artificial snow, artificial ice lake, LED lights, colored sand and cartoon figures. The workshop was a great success with the participation of 142 parents and children. Both the children and their parents were excited seeing the Snow Globe samples and Christmas Plants being displaced on the table as they entered the hall.  Children who chose to make snow globes started off by placing the artificial ice lake on the lid of the container to make a base.  The glass container was then filled with artificial snow and Christmas accessories including Christmas trees, Santa Claus, reindeer and other cute animal figurines.  Meanwhile, the group who had opted to plant jam enjoyed pouring and scooping sand of different colors around the Christmas plant in the glass container provided.  Christmas decorations, along with the Christmas trees they had decorated earlier acted as finishing touches to their product.  Parents were amazed by the children’s creativity and admired the unique masterpieces they created.  Christmas spirit filled the school hall and we all had a fun and joyful morning.
