Super Power Reading Week at Causeway Bay!

Our reading week got off to a great start with World Book Day on April 23rd. We celebrated by having DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) time, where everyone in the school dropped everything and read! Children brought their favourite books from home to share with their school friends. Throughout the week the children had mystery readers visiting their classrooms and took part in buddy reading between classes! The older children loved reading to the younger children and the younger children loved being read to by their older friends! The week ended off with our Special Activity Day where the children could dress up as their favourite book character! We had lots of favourite story book friends at our school that day! We also had lots of parent volunteers who came to read some of their favourite stories to the children. It was a wonderful week of celebrating reading and the super readers at Causeway Bay!
