May Special Activity Day “ People In Our Community”

Chief Coordinators: Mrs. Jessie LI, Mrs. Jacqueline LIU, Mrs. Mary MA, Mrs. Joey SIU, Mrs. Ivy WONG, and Mrs. Alice YIP
On this month’s Special Activity Day, children came to school as little doctors, nurses, pilots, construction workers, chefs, and even barristers, showcasing and honouring different occupations that serve our community.
We had 18 enthusiastic parent presenters who visited our children’s classrooms and presented them with interesting facts about their professions across various fields (architecture, aviation, finance and investments, law, medicine, marketing, performance, public service, and sports) Our parent volunteers intrigued our curious minds with their uniforms, games, props, tools, and videos.
Another 40 parent volunteers joined us in leading 12 activity booths, each representing a role in our community, at the playground and the school hall. Our children had so much fun role-playing as police, cleaners, firefighters, farmers, entertainers, etc., and interacting with parent volunteers while learning about each role's responsibilities in the community.
We appreciate all our parent volunteers for their contribution to making the event a great success!
