St. John Children’s First Aid Workshop

For every childhood, accidents and injuries are inevitable. When an accident occurs, parents will need to be prepared to take the necessary action. Understanding basic first aid skills and how to apply them according to the injury and age of the child is critical and can save their lives. In view of this, we invited an instructor from Hong Kong St. John Ambulance Association to hold a 3-hour Children First Aid Workshop for our parents at our school hall. Parents had a practical and fruitful workshop where they learnt how to deal with bumps, burns, breaks, choking, bleeding and head injury. They even learnt to carry out CPR and operating the AED. Other than bringing home some practical skills, parents also received an attendance certificate for joining the workshop.
